When Hanaeleh’s members saw Mr. Ed, he was in so much pain that he literally could not move from the front of his stall to the back. After two months of bute therapy and some physical therapy as well, Mr. Ed was sound enough to take to his new home in Petaluma with a woman named Cara who works actively to stop killer buyers from purchasing horses for the purpose of slaughter. Cara worked to find him a forever home, and Mr. Ed now lives with a man and his grandchildren, who love to groom him and feed him carrots!
