Heart of Battle was one of four horses that Hanaeleh took in when they were told of a woman who had passed away suddenly when her tractor flipped backwards onto her. When Hanaeleh first saw Heart, she had an abscess that hadn’t been cared for, and was very depressed. She found a wonderful home with Myrna V. through the Exceller Fund, and had a wonderful two years of being spoiled and pampered as any horse would love! Heart suffered from a stroke in March, and was lovingly allowed to pass away with dignity and grace.
