UPDATE 2/27/24- We are pleased to note that Buckeye has found a new, forever home! We appreciate everyone who helped to network him, and we are very happy that he has someone who will love him and take excellent care of him!

Buckeye is a 24 year-old bay Appendix gelding who is looking for a new home. His owners moved to Montana and were concerned that the long distance and cold winters would be too difficult for Buckeye to handle, so they are looking to find him a new home.
Buckeye was diagnosed several years ago with ringbone, but it doesn’t seem to bother him and he enjoys his walks around the neighborhood. He was formerly a mounted police horse, so pretty much nothing phases him. He is good for a beginner or intermediate handler. His owners retired him, so he has not been ridden, but he seems to move out well on the street.
