UPDATE: 2/22/23- We were contacted by Stuart’s owner. Good news- Stuart the pony has found a new home! Thank you to everyone who helped to network him!
We were contacted by a woman who helped to rescue a pony when her neighbor dumped him, but she is concerned that he is not getting the attention he deserves, and would like him to find a home with someone who would love to work with him. Otherwise, he has had his vaccines, and his teeth were floated last month. He does need his feet trimmed.
The pony’s name is Stuart, or “Stuart Little Ears” (she has donkeys, so in contrast his ears are tiny, lol). His owner says that he is very sweet but appears to have been abused in the past and is afraid of people. Her son is able to brush him and clean his feet, but they just don’t have the time to rehabilitate him so he is comfortable around people.
